Nantucket Lightship Baskets

 Originating in the 19th century on Nantucket Island lightships, our basketry honors America's lightship and whaling industry while offering modern, updated pieces for today's lifestyle. 

Our baskets are made in the classic tradition using primarily cherry wood staves and bamboo weavers.  Rosewood, maple and other woods are also available. 

Lightship baskets have become treasured family heirlooms, passed down through the generations.
